Virat Kohli says, marriage with Anushka was more important to me

Kohli has left India today with Anushka and the entire Indian team for South Africa tour.

Chennai: Indian captain Virat Kohli has said publicly for the first time after marrying actress Anushka Sharma. Virat has said that marriage compared to any other work was more important to him and Anushka Sharma.

When asked about how difficult it would be to return to cricket after the wedding ceremonies yesterday, Kohli said, "It is not difficult in any way. I was out due to some other work (marriage) which was more important. It was a time that would always be special for both of us. ''

He said, "It will not be difficult in any way to return to cricket as it is in my blood, like any other team member or team management. Therefore returning to the professional front is not difficult in any way.

Kohli, Anushka, and the entire Indian team have left India today for South Africa tour where the series of three Tests starts on January 5.
